yourn· is built on a simple idea: your shopping data belongs to you. We don't sell your data, we don't serve ads, and we don't build profiles for third-party advertisers. Your persona lives on your device. We make money through flat affiliate commissions when you buy something you love — that's it.
Who We Are
yourn· is operated by Cauze Charitable Fund ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy describes how we handle information when you use the yourn· mobile application (the "App").
What We Collect
We've designed yourn· to minimize the data we hold about you. Here's exactly what we collect and where it lives:

How Scoring Works
yourn· matches products to your preferences using a scoring engine that runs entirely on your device. Your persona data is never sent to our servers for scoring. The product catalog is downloaded to your device, and all matching happens locally.
AI Features
When you use AI-powered features (like persona analysis or search), your request is sent through our server to Anthropic's API (Claude). We act as a proxy so that no API keys are stored on your device. We do not store the content of these AI conversations on our servers beyond what's needed to complete the request. Anthropic's use of data is governed by their privacy policy.
How We Make Money
We earn flat affiliate commissions through partnerships with Impact and AvantLink when you purchase a product through the App. This is a standard referral fee paid by the brand — it doesn't change the price you pay, and it doesn't influence how products are scored or ranked. Your persona score is the only thing that determines your feed order.
What We Never Do
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. We will never serve ads in the App. We will never use your persona data to build marketing profiles for third parties. We will never monetize your data in any way other than the affiliate model described above.

Data Retention & Deletion
Your persona and interaction data live on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the App. If you've opted into persona backup, you can delete your server-side backup at any time from the Profile screen. Your anonymous device token is retained on our server for authentication purposes and can be deleted upon request.
Children's Privacy
yourn· is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (TLS), AES-256 encryption for persona backups, JWT-based device authentication, and server-side API key management. No system is perfectly secure, but we've designed the architecture so that even in a breach scenario, the most sensitive data — your full persona — lives on your device, not our servers.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you through the App before they take effect. We'll never retroactively weaken your privacy protections without your explicit consent.
